Using all-carbon construction, the 45 Clincher was designed with a 45mm rim profile to optimize aerodynamics while reducing rim weight to a mere 395g. The carbon braking surface was designed to minimize and dissipate heat, while providing a considerably lighter rim than those with traditional alloy braking surfaces.
